This Sonoma Valley Zinfandel vineyard has been dry farmed for over 130 years and in the Kunde family since 1904. Ryan first walked this vineyard block with his grandfather in the 1980s and now coming full circle, he’s finally made its wine. It has a dark blackberry jam and red-purple color. Its meaty aromas and spice give way to blackberry, blueberry, cherry and bubblegum with notes of smoky BBQ and tar. Structurally, the wine is vibrant with great depth of fruit, body and flavor with dusty mature tannins and a long lingering finish. Enjoy now through 2024.
