Description
From one of the first Syrah vineyards in CA, this wine is full and complex and layered with aromas both savory and sweet; earthy forest floor, mushroom, herbs, and roasted meats, evolving to rootbeer, vanilla, caramel, and plum on the back end. It has a dense and lively mouthfeel, balanced acidity and tannin, for a long satisfying finish. Four barrels produced.
